A process for the production of the compound of claim 1, comprising reacting a compound of the formula ##STR146## with (a) cyanic acid and then (b) formaldehyde to react each NH group not attached to the ring with cyanic acid to form first a --N--CO--NH 2 -- group and subsequently an --N--CO--NH--CH 2 OH group or (c) additionally etherifying the --N--CO--NH--CH 2 OH group with an alcohol of the formula ZOH in acid medium.
