Abstract
Abstract Indazole compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R' is hydrogen or acyl, e.g., alkanoyl, and R 2 is benzyl or a radical of the general formula ##STR2## in which X is a reactive residue and Y is hydroxyl or X and Y together represent oxygen and, when R' is an acyl radical, R 2 can also be hydrogen: Are valuable intermediates for the preparation of pharmacologically active compounds, e.g., adrenergic β-receptor active 3-indazolyl-(4)-oxy-propan-2-ol-amines.
