A compound of the formula ##STR6## wherein R 1' is a leaving group selected from methylsulphonyloxy, phenylsulphonyloxy, p-toluenesulphonyloxy or phosphoric acid ester and R 2 is hydrogen, C 1-6 lower alkyl, aryl-(lower alkyl) or aryl where aryl is phenyl or phenyl substituted by halogen or nitro said compound being present as the racemate or in the form of an optical antipode.
