Abstract
Abstract An improved method of coating a solid substrate which is cured at a high temperature for a short period of time with a thermosetting aqueous acrylic polymer is disclosed. The improvement of the invention resides in: (i) the stability of the aqueous dispersion and (ii) the particle size of the dispersed particles which are large and uniform. The invention is particularly useful in coil coating applications where it eliminates the problem of solvent popping.
