A lubricant composition which comprises an oleaginous material and, in an amount effective to impart oxidation properties thereto, an adduct having the formula: ##STR4## where R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and hydrocarbyl containing from 1 to about 12 carbon atoms, and R' is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl containing from 1 to about 8 carbon atoms.
