Abstract 2-Cyclopropylamino-4-formylamino-6-amino-s-triazines of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 represents hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by lower alkoxy, or represents C 3 -C 4 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 4 -alkynyl, cyclopropyl, hydroxy, methoxy or ethoxy, R 2 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, or R 1 and R 2 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached represent a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring which can contain a further nitrogen atom or an oxygen atom, and R 3 represents hydrogen or methyl, And the acid addition salts thereof for combatting developmental stages of insects.
