Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 117 words
A panel connector for use with shelf-supporting brackets comprising: an elongate body having a front wall with a plurality of holes defined therein for detachably receiving hanger means; a hook shaped top portion for attaching said elongate body to a panel along a top edge thereof; said front wall having a bottom portion adjacent said top portion and offset therefrom to define a ledge adjacent said holes in said top portion, said bottom portion having a front wall for supporting said hanger means on said body; and fastening means on said top portion for attaching said elongate body to a panel in a manner such that said panel can be connected to another panel via the standard.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 117 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 219 words
A panel connector comprising: an elongate top wall having a rear face and longitudinal side edges; a second elongate wall attached at one longitudinal side edge thereof to one longitudinal side edge of said elongate top wall, a panel receiving notch defined therein; a third elongate wall attached at one longitudinal side edge thereof to another longitudinal side edge of said top wall, said first and second walls being at right angles with said top wall, said third wall having a plurality of bracket receiving holes defined therein; a fourth elongate wall attached at one longitudinal side edge thereof to another longitudinal side edge of said third elongate wall and being oriented to be in spaced parallelism with said top wall; a fifth elongate wall attached at one longitudinal side edge thereof to another longitudinal side edge of said fourth elongate wall to be in spaced parallelism with said third elongate wall; a sixth elongate wall attached at one end thereof to another longitudinal side edge of said fifth wall to extend toward said first wall and to be in spaced parallelism with said top wall; a plurality of fastening means connecting with one of a pair of end abutting panels to the panel connector whereby said pair of end abutting panels are connected together via the panel connector.
