Abstract
Abstract Apparatus is provided for disassembly of a tapered connection (20) by injecting fluid into a threaded bolt hole (24) and pressurizing the fluid by tightening the bolt (34). The pressurized fluid between the members (12, 14) forming the connection (20) forces the members (12, 14) to separate. The apparatus purges compressible air from the connection (20) thereby allowing the pressure to build and separate the members (12, 14).
