Claim 1
Independent Claim
113 words
A stable, liquid, concentrated dyeing composition, consisting essentially of from 10% to 80% of at least one water-soluble basic dyestuff which is substantially free of inorganic salts, having a mean particle size of 0.1 to about 20 microns, dispersed in from 90% to 20% of an organic dispersion medium in which the dyestuff is insoluble, said dispersion medium consisting essentially of a water-soluble, liquid, organic solvent selected from the group consisting of polyhydric alcohols and ethers thereof, or mixture thereof with up to 20% water, wherein said dispersion medium has a boiling point above 80° C., and wherein said dyeing composition has a viscosity of 100 to about 250 cp at 20° C.
