Abstract O-Alkyl-O-[2-substituted-6-alkoxy-pyrimidin-(4)yl]-thionophosphonic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R 3 each independently is alkyl, R 1 is phenyl or alkyl, and R 2 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or dialkylamino Which possess arthropodicidal properties.
