Abstract Pyrimidin(4)-yl-(thiono)-phosphoric-(phosphonic) acid esters and ester amides of the formula IN WHICH R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl or aralkyl, R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, halogen, nitrile or thiocyanato, R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or alkoxycarbonylalkyl, or R2 is R3 conjointly form an alkylene bridge which forms a 5-membered to 7-membered ring with the adjoining carbon atoms, R4 is alkyl or alkoxyalkyl, R5 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkylamino, or aryl, and X is oxygen or sulfur, WHICH POSSESS INSECTICIDAL, ACARICIDAL AND NEMATOCIDAL PROPERTIES.
