Abstract
Abstract Oil soluble polymers corresponding to the formula ##STR1## are ashless oil dispersants in lubricating oils and fuels. In formulas I and II, R is a saturated or substantially saturated polyolefin having a molecular weight of at least about 250; R 1 is hydrogen or ##STR2## wherein R 2 is hydrogen or alkyl of from 1 to about 18 carbon atoms with at least about 60 percent of the R 1 groups being ##STR3## X is ##STR4## Y is a terminal group; and n is from 2 to about 15.
