Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 88 words
A process for preventing the release of pharmacological mediators from an immediate hypersensitivity reaction between reaginic type antibodies and an antigen, thereby preventing the symptoms manifest in bronchial asthma, seasonal pollinosis, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, allergic conjunctivitis, food allergy and anaphylactoid reactions of a sensitized animal, which comprises prophylactically administering to said animal an effective amount of a compound of the formula: ##STR6## in which R is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, --CN, (lower) alkyl amino, di(lower) alkylamino, polyhalo(lower) alkyl, halo and carbamoyl; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 88 words

Claim 4
Dependent Claim 32 words
A compound of the formula: ##STR7## in which R is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, --CN, (lower) alkyl amino, di(lower) alkylamino, polyhalo(lower) alkyl, halo and carbamoyl; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
A compound of claim 2 which is N-(2-thiazolyl)-1H-tetrazole-5-carboxamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 14 words
A compound of claim 2 which is N-(5-chloro-2-thiazolyl)-1H-tetrazole-5-carboxamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 14 words
A compound of claim 2 which is N-(4-cyano-2-thiazolyl)-1H-tetrazole-5-carboxamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
