Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 19
Claim 1
Independent Claim 78 words
A fastening arrangement for an inner roof covering of motor vehicles at a flange means of a roof frame means, characterized in that the flange means points outwardly and terminates in a substantially horizontally extending edge portion disposed at the periphery of a body opening of the vehicle, and that the edge of the roof covering which is constructed approximately U-shaped surrounds the horizontally extending edge portion so as to secure the roof covering at the flange means.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 78 words
A fastening arrangement for an inner roof covering of motor vehicles at a flange means of a roof frame means, characterized in that the flange means points outwardly and terminates in a substantially horizontally extending edge portion disposed at the periphery of a body opening of the vehicle, and that the edge of the roof covering which is constructed approximately U-shaped surrounds the horizontally extending edge portion so as to secure the roof covering at the flange means.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the flange means is formed by an inner sheet metal member forming part of the roof frame means.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 32 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the flange means and the edge of the roof covering surrounding the flange means is covered off by an edge-protecting profile means.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 17 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 3, characterized in that the edge-protecting profile means consists of rubber.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 18 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 3, characterized in that the profile means consists of synthetic resinous material.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 28 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 3, characterized in that the flange means is formed by an inner sheet metal member forming part of the roof frame means.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 29 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the U-shaped edge of the roof covering is formed by a retaining rail means connected with the roof covering.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 35 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 7, characterized in that the retaining rail means is a substantially rigid member so as to secure the roof covering at the flange means without being fixedly attached thereto.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 20 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 8, characterized in that the retaining rail means is welded to the roof covering.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 20 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 8, characterized in that the retaining rail means is glued to the roof covering.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 19 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 8, characterized in that the retaining rail means consists of synthetic resinous material.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 20 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 7, characterized in that the retaining rail means is welded to the roof covering.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 20 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 7, characterized in that the retaining rail means is glued to the roof covering.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 19 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 7, characterized in that the retaining rail means consists of synthetic resinous material.
Claim 16
Dependent Claim 28 words
A fastening arrangement according to claim 14, characterized in that the flange means is formed by an inner sheet metal member forming part of the roof frame means.
Claim 17
