Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 14
Claim 1
Independent Claim
77 words
A synthetic paper having good ink adhesion thereto which comprised: A. a synthetic paper substrate comprising a papery layer which is a stretched resin film which contains fine filler particles dispersed therein and has microvoids dispersed therein and surface ruptures thereon; and B. a layer for improving ink adhesion to the synthetic paper which is provided on at least one surface of the papery layer and comprises, as an essential constituent, an ethyleneimine adduct of a polyaminepolyamide.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
27 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 1 in which the synthetic paper substrate comprises the papery layers provided on the both sides of an inner layer.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
26 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 1 in which the ethyleneimine adduct is water-soluble resin resulting from the addition of an ethyleneimine to a polyaminepolyamide.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
25 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 3 in which the polyaminepolyamide is obtained by a condensation reaction of a dicarboxylic acid and a polyalkylenepolyamine.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
42 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 4 in which the dicarboxylic acid is a member selected from the group consisting of saturated and unsaturated, aliphatic and alicyclic dicarboxylic acids and aromatic dicarboxylic acids each having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
26 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 5 in which the dicarboxylic acid is a saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 8 carbon atoms.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
16 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 5 in which the dicarboxylic acid is phthalic acid.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
33 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 4 in which the polyalkylenepolyamine is a member selected from the group consisting of polyalkylenepolyamines with alkylene moieties each having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim
15 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 8 in which the polyalkylenepolyamine is a polyethylenepolyamine.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim
39 words
A sythetic paper as claimed in claim 4 in which the polyaminepolyamide is a member selected from the group consisting of condensation products of adipic acid with a polyethylenepolyamine selected from the group consisting of diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine and tetraethylenepentamine.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim
23 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 1 in which the layer for improving ink adhesion contains a high molecular surface active agent.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim
26 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 1 in which the layer for improving ink adhesion further contains an inorganic salt which is soluble in water.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim
19 words
A synthetic paper as claimed in claim 12 in which the inorganic salt is a carbonate or a bicarbonate.
