Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 36 words
A tape consisting essentially of (a) 95 - 60% by weight atactic polypropylene, and (b) 5 - 40% by weight non-conductive carbon black having particles of a size capable of passing through a 70 mesh sieve.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 36 words
A tape consisting essentially of (a) 95 - 60% by weight atactic polypropylene, and (b) 5 - 40% by weight non-conductive carbon black having particles of a size capable of passing through a 70 mesh sieve.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 75 words
The tape of claim 1, wherein the atactic polypropylene has a softening point determined of ASTM-E28-51 of 100° to 110° C, a viscosity determined by Brookfield Thermosel system of 5000 to 9000 centipoises at 149° C, and a density determined by ASTM-D792 at 23° C of 0.82-0.90 grams per cubic centimeter; and wherein the carbon black is a thermal black having a specific gravity of about 1.80 and a moisture content of about 0.5% maximum.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 26 words
The tape of claim 2 wherein the polypropylene concentration is 75 to 85% by weight and the carbon black concentration is 25 to 15% by weight.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 8 words
The tape of claim 1 formed by extrusion.
