Abstract
Abstract A stable liquid detergent composition comprises a peroxide derivative, at least one surface-active agent, a salt of a polymer derived from an alpha-hydroxyacrylic acid, which salt contains units of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 and R 2 independently represent hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms which may or may not be substituted and where M represents a cationic radical resulting from the dissociation of a base, and at least one solvent.
