Claim 1
Independent Claim 74 words
A method of improving the properties of a filler for polymers, which comprises coating the filler with from about 0.5 to about 5 percent based on the weight of the filler of a coupling agent having the general formula ##STR2## wherein R 1 is an alkyl group having from about 1 - 6 carbon atoms, and R 2 and X each is a long chained hydrocarbon group containing from 8 to 22 carbon atoms.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 74 words
A method of improving the properties of a filler for polymers, which comprises coating the filler with from about 0.5 to about 5 percent based on the weight of the filler of a coupling agent having the general formula ##STR2## wherein R 1 is an alkyl group having from about 1 - 6 carbon atoms, and R 2 and X each is a long chained hydrocarbon group containing from 8 to 22 carbon atoms.
Claim 3
