A rapid heat-curable composition comprising (1) 100 parts by weight of a polyepoxide having more than 1,2-epoxide group, and (2) from 30 to 70 parts by weight of a composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a liquid organic dicarboxylic acid of the general formula: ##STR5## wherein R 1 is an alkyl group of up of about 10 carbon atoms and R 2 is an alkylene group of up to 12 carbon atoms, and (b) about at least 1.75 parts by weight of an imidazole compound of the general formula: ##STR6## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms and hydrocarbon radicals containing no more than 15 carbon atoms.
