Abstract
Abstract A process for the preparation of heterocyclic compounds containing one nitrogen atom and novel 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-3-benzazepines prepared by this process are disclosed. The resulting heterocyclic compounds, including the novel 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-3-benzazepine derivatives, exhibit analgesic, appetite suppressant, and anti-edema activity.
