Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to novel acrylates, methacrylates, fumarates, maleates, citraconates, mesaconates, itaconates, and aconitates of the following structure: <IMAGE> I where R1, R2 are each CnH2n, where n is 1 to 12 and may be straight chain or branched; R3 is hydrogen or CnH2n+1, where n is 1 to 12 and may be straight chain or branched; R4, R5 and R6 are hydrogen, methyl, <IMAGE> or <IMAGE> PROVIDED THAT AT LEAST ONE OF R4, R5, and R6 is hydrogen or methyl; Rf is CpF2p+1 or CpF2p+1OCqF2q, where p is 3 to 18 (preferably 6 to 12), q is 2 to 8, and the perfluoroalkyl constituent may be branched or straight chain.
