Abstract

Abstract Improved foamable polymer compositions of polyvinyl chloride and copolymers containing vinyl chloride, with little or no plasticizer, are described. The foamable polymer compositions contain polyvinyl chloride or a copolymer containing vinyl chloride, a blowing agent, and a high density, high molecular weight polyethylene. The compositions may also contain stabilizers, lubricants, activators, and inorganic fillers or pigments. Rigid low density foam products are made from these compositions.
