A polyurethane foam composition prepared by a process which comprises reacting an organic polyisocyanate or a polyisocyanate prepolymer with a resin mixture comprising a first polyol formed by reacting an alkylene oxide with a resole, said resole being formed in the presence of an alkaline catalyst by the reaction of phenol, urea and aldehyde.
