Abstract
Abstract A component system of parts used together and in repetition to make different forms of upholstered seating. The system utilizes three cushion elements which form a seat, a back and an arm which can be used on either right or left side of the seat. The soft foam cushion parts sit on or are attached to molded or shaped platform. The platform is used to locate and attach the metal frame parts which hold the seating system together. In the preferred embodiment, three different platform configurations are used in conjunction with three metal exposed frame parts which are combined in an aesthetic manner with the cushions to form single or multiple seating units.
