Abstract
Abstract Thermophilic microorganisms which produce α-1,6 glucosidases are grown under aerobic conditions in an aqueous nutrient medium containing suitable carbohydrate sources. The medium is maintained at a suitable pH and, typically, at a temperature above about 40° C to provide substantial growth of the microorganisms and production of α-1,6 glucosidases.
