Abstract THE PRODUCTION OF NEUTRAL PROTEASE ENZYME IN HIGH YEILDS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY CULTIVATING A STRAIN OF BACILLUS STEAROTHERMOPHILUS (STRAIN I-1800) IN AN AQUEOUS NUTRIENT FERMENTATION MEDIUM. SUCH CULTURING PRODUCES NEUTRAL PROTEASE WHICH HAS OPTIMUM ENZYMATIC ACTIVITY AT 70-80*C.
