Abstract
Abstract A thermosetting coating composition contains a polyisocyanate blocked with a hydroxamic acid ester or an acyl hydroxamate. The polyisocyanate in the coating composition may be activated by dissociation of the blocking agent and polyisocyanate at a lower temperature than the blocked polyisocyanate of conventional coating compositions.
