Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim
75 words
The method of alleviating fungus infections of the skin which comprises applying to the skin area affected by the fungus an effective amount of an aqueous solution of a water soluble fluoride and a surface active agent of a character having no substantial effect in inactivating the fluoride, the wetting agent being present in a minor proportion relative to the fluoride, and said fluoride being present in an amount effective to alleviate said fungus infection.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
75 words
The method of alleviating fungus infections of the skin which comprises applying to the skin area affected by the fungus an effective amount of an aqueous solution of a water soluble fluoride and a surface active agent of a character having no substantial effect in inactivating the fluoride, the wetting agent being present in a minor proportion relative to the fluoride, and said fluoride being present in an amount effective to alleviate said fungus infection.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
16 words
The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein the surface active agent is an anionic surfactant.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
13 words
The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein the fluoride is sodium fluoride.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
26 words
The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein water soluble fluoride is present in the aqueous solution at a concentration of about 1 grain per ounce.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
19 words
The method as claimed in claim 1 wherein sodium chloride is added in minor proportion relative to the fluoride.
