Abstract

Abstract Disclosed are compositions of DAC-B hydrocarbon resin and a poly(ethylene terephthalate) type polyester, a poly(tetramethylene terephthalate) type polyester, or a poly(1,4-cyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate) type polyester. These compositions have a lower melt viscosity at elevated temperatures than the polyesters alone and can therefore be melt spun into fibers at a lower temperature than the polyester alone. Fibers spun from these compositions have properties substantially equivalent to the properties of fibers spun from the polyester alone.
