Abstract

Abstract An adjustment device for mounting a metal disintegrator head to a support is described comprising a first and a second housing with the first housing being mounted to the support and the second housing being mounted to the disintegrator head. One of the first and second housings has a mounting member and a plate member. Means are provided for relatively journaling the mounting member and the plate member about a first axis. A hinge interconnects the first and second housings enabling movement between the first and second housings about a hinge axis which is substantially perpendicular to the first axis. Locking means is provided for locking the position of the first housing relative to the second housing about the hinge axis. The foregoing abstract is merely a resume of one general application, is not a complete discussion of all principles of operation or applications, and is not to be construed as a limitation on the scope of the claimed subject matter.
