Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 2
Claim 1
Independent Claim 89 words
A method of heating blood for on line use directly into a patient, characterized by the steps of introducing a continuous flow of blood into a shield chamber through a microwave preamble flexible hose to pass therethrough, exposing the blood flowing within said chamber to the heating action of microwaves, and controlling the duration of exposure and energy of the microwaves from the microwave generator in response to the temperature of the blood which has passed through said chamber so that the blood is heated to the desired temperature.
