Abstract
Abstract An asymetric disk for a ski staff with hand straps, in which the front edge of the disk is in close proximity to the staff. Only the rear edge and/or the lateral edge of the disk extend to form the bearing surfaces of the disk. The hand straps are attached to the staff on the side of the rear edge. The disk is rigid in its central area and is keyed to the shaft so as not to be rotatable thereon.
