Abstract

Abstract An aqueous dispersion of copolymers are used as binders for the production of optionally dry-cleanable nonwoven materials. The copolymers consist of copolymerized units of 1 - 2.5% by weight of N-methylol(meth)acrylamide, 1 - 2.5% by weight of (meth)acrylamide, 0.5 - 3% by weight of α,β-monoolefinically unsaturated di- or tricarboxylic acids with 4 to 6 carbon atoms and 89.5 - 97.5% by weight of (meth)-acrylic acid esters having 1 - 18 carbon atoms in the alcohol component.
