Abstract

Abstract The specification discloses a coupling device comprising a sleeve, forming an adapter for connecting tubing of different sizes, particularly tubing used in respiratory systems in hospitals. The sleeve has fixed thereto a pair of external diametrically disposed mushroom-like buttons by which an elastic tape with a series of holes secures a tubing to the sleeve and prevents accidental separation therefrom.
