A clothes washing detergent composition having incorporated therein from 0.001 to 5 percent by weight of a compound of the formula ##SPC2## wherein n is 0 or 1, R 1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon having 8 to 14 carbon atoms or tert.-butyl, and R 2 and R 3 are H, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, with the proviso that at least one of R 2 and R 3 is said alkyl or hydroxyalkyl.
