Abstract
Abstract The invention provides thiophenecarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula: WHEREIN R1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 is hydrogen, chlorine, or alkyl or alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R3 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, or alkyl or alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or, when R2 denotes hydrogen, may also be fluorine or trifluoromethyl, AND WHEN R1 is hydrogen, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are useful antiphlogistics and analgesics.
