Abstract
Abstract A picture mount comprising a planar, generally rectangular backing member including four pairs of integral, fold-out legs and integral, fold-out locking tabs positioned parallel to and spaced from respective legs, the legs and the locking tabs folding outwardly along lines parallel to and adjacent the four sides of the backing member. Each of the legs includes a pair of integral, opposed, side tabs foldable relative to the legs towards the center of the backing member. The locking tabs engage and hold the ends of respective side tabs in locked positions with substantial portions of the outer edges of all of the legs, the side tabs, and the locking tabs coplanar to provide a rigid, stand-off type wall mount which can be hung in either a horizontal or a vertical position and which supports the backing member to prevent bending thereof.
