Abstract
Abstract A process for the cleavage of diisopropylbenzene dihydroperoxides, which comprises heating an oxidation product of diisopropylbenzene containing m-diisopropylbenzene dihydroperoxide together with at least one member of the p-isomer and its cleavage products, whereby m-diisopropylbenzene dihydroperoxide is effectively cleaved to give resorcin.
