Abstract

Abstract Complex shaped permanent magnets are formed by braze bonding together at least two simpler shaped permanent magnets by applying a layer of a solder between the surfaces of said shaped permanent magnets intended to be joined, and heating the assembly to a temperature sufficient to cause melting of the solder, wherein said heating is effected in a non-oxidizing atmosphere.
