Abstract
Abstract A sterilant package includes paper containing a compound having at least one - CH2OR group wherein R is alkyl, in particular the compound is hexamethoxymethylmelamine. The compound is capable of releasing formaldehyde, upon heating, and is used to sterilize an article in the package.
