Abstract

Abstract The caulking or sealing composition of the invention has as its binder an acrylic backbone containing pendant unsaturated groups, preferably derived from drying oils or equivalent air curable unsaturated pendant alkyl radicals, and attached to the acrylic backbone through ester linkages. The modified acrylic product has the flexibility and durability characteristic of acrylics, and the advantage that the composition will cure similarly to drying oils, using driers such as cobalt naphthenate and zinc naphthenate.
