Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 67 words
An electronic channel selector system for television receivers of the type wherein an electronic multistage counter provides a scanning action to activate each of the selectable broadcast channels individually and periodically in sequence in dependence on the count registered by said counter, said selector system including a means to produce a preselected count in said counter each time operating power is intially applied to said selector system.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 67 words
An electronic channel selector system for television receivers of the type wherein an electronic multistage counter provides a scanning action to activate each of the selectable broadcast channels individually and periodically in sequence in dependence on the count registered by said counter, said selector system including a means to produce a preselected count in said counter each time operating power is intially applied to said selector system.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 57 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 1 wherein said counter comprises a plurality of flip-flop elements and said means to produce a preselected count comprises a pulse generator responsive to the increasing voltage transient of a Power supply resulting from the initial application of operating power to said system to produce an output pulse.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 29 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 2 wherein said pulse is applied to one of the clear and preset inputs of each stage of said counter.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 25 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 3 wherein said pulse is applied to the clear inputs of each stage of said counter.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 25 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 3 wherein said pulse is applied to the preset inputs of each stage of said counter.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 26 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 2 wherein said counter and said pulse generator are both embodied on a single integrated circuit device.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 43 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 6 wherein said pulse generator is a window discriminator producing an output only when the voltage applied thereto is within a preset range below the operating range of voltage for said integrated circuit device.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 33 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 7 wherein the highest voltage of said range is approximately one half the value of said operating voltage of said single integrated circuit device.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 32 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 7 wherein said output of said discriminator is applied to one of the clear and preset inputs of each stage of said counter.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 28 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 9 wherein said output of said discriminator is applied to said clear inputs of each stage of said counter.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 28 words
An electronic channel selector system as defined in claim 9 wherein said output of said discriminator is applied to the preset inputs of each stage of said counter.
