Abstract
Abstract A base metal alloy is described comprised primarily of nickel and chromium with minor amounts of niobium, tin, molybdenum, boron, and silicon, which has outstanding physical properties with the melting temperature being low enough for the alloy to be used advantageously as a substitute for precious metals and metal alloys, generally and specifically, in the fabrication of a wide variety of dental prosthetic appliances.
