Abstract

Abstract The invention describes a composition which is active against ADJ/PC6 tumour in mice comprising a co-ordination complex of platinum (II) having the structure in which R1 to R4 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl, halogen, pseudohalogen, nitro, amido, amino, hydroxy, formyl, carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid salt, sulphonic acid, sulphonic acid salt and lkyl, aryl, aralkyl and alkaryl groups having as a substituent a member of the said group defined above and in which X and Y are halogenoid groups which may be the same or different.
