Abstract

Abstract A telescoping ball bearing slide mechanism having inner and outer slide members with a ball bearing retainer positioned there between. The moving slide member has a lanced-down tab. The ball retainer also has a lanced-up counter-tab. The tab of the slide moving member is aligned with the tab of the ball retainer, and if the ball retainer has moved out of its normal operative position, the tab of the slide moving member engages the tab of the ball retainer, and the ball retainer is pushed to its normal position by fully closing the drawer which the slide mechanism supports.
