Abstract
Abstract Disclosed herein are novel 0-carboxyalkylated and ethoxylated diamines and modified polyamides containing the diamines. When employed in modification of polyamides, the diamines impart very good antistatic properties to the polyamide thereby greatly increasing the comfort and wearability of fabrics made from the modified polyamide.
