Abstract
Abstract Alkylidene bridged ring compounds are produced by contacting an alkenyl bridged ring compound with an alkaline catalyst composition prepared by heating an alkali metal, an alkali metal hydroxide and alumina at a temperature higher than the melting point of the alkali metal.
