Abstract
Abstract A method of manufacturing tubular film from thermoplastic resin which comprises causing a tubularly inflated film of thermoplastic resin extruded through an annular die to contact streams of cooling water flowing through a cylindrical water cooler in the same direction as that in which the tubular film travels and other flat streams of cooling water conducted therethrough in the opposite direction, subjecting the film to vacuum sizing while thus externally cooling it and internally cooling it by a mandrel, and finally taking up the tubular film.
