Abstract
Abstract Aqueous coating compositions comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible copolymer prepared by polymerizing 1,3pentadiene, 1,3-butadiene and, if desired, at least one other olefin copolymerizable therewith to form a liquid copolymer which is then addition reacted with an Alpha , Beta -unsaturated dicarboxylic compound and neutralized to make it soluble or dispersible in water; and processes for preparing same.
