Abstract

Abstract A process for the hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbon feeds, e.g., at temperatures ranging from about 50*C. to about 450*C., and at pressures ranging from about 100 psi to about 3,000 psi. The unsaturated hydrocarbon feeds are contacted at hydrogenation conditions with novel forms of chrysotile catalysts, in flake or tubular forms, particularly high surface area forms of these materials.
